Week 6 NFL Picks

As usual we're going to pick our three best bets against the spread, a money-line, and a total.

Against the Spread

Jaguars at Bears (-1)

Caleb Williams is getting into a groove in the NFL and the Jaguars are really playing bad football this year. I'd feel a bit better about the Bears if their offensive line were playing a little better but their defense has been kicking ass.

Pick: Bears -1

Lions at Cowboys (+3.5)

The Cowboys can't stop the run. The Lions have the best run blocking offensive lines in the league. The Cowboys are going to be in trouble. They're going to need to take advantage of the Lions questionable secondary and hope that Jared Goff makes mistake. But Goff is playing as well as he ever has.

Pick: Lions -3.5

Buccaneers at Saints (+3.5)

Baker Mayfield is having maybe the best season of his career. The Saints started 2024 hot but have cooled off. A big part of the Saints' struggles are due to offensive line injuries specifically. Todd Bowles' blitzing defense won't make things easy. Bucs by a TD.

Pick: Buccaneers -3.5

Money Line

Cardinals (+195) at Packers (-238)

Kyler Murray is going to be a problem for the Packers defensive front that hasn't pressured the QB and hasn't played assignment sure football. Jordan Love will get his against a questionable Cardinals secondary but he could make some mistakes, too.

Pick: Cardinals +195

Total

Bengals at Giants (47)

Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and company are the hottest offense in the NF facing a Giants team that has a questionable secondary outside of Deonte Banks (why on Earth did they let Xavier McKinney leave?). Meanwhile the Bengals are 27th in defensive EPA. Danny Dimes will get a few.

Pick: Over 47
