Week 9 NFL Picks

Against the Spread

Cowboys at Falcons (-3.5)

The Cowboys are 26th in rushing defense. They will have a very hard time stopping Bijan Robinson. Their pass defense without Micah Parsons isn't much to speak of either. Take the Falcons.

Pick: Falcons -3.5

Rams at Seahawks (+1.5)

Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua are back. More importantly, Jared Verse, Byron Young, and Kobie Turner are going to eat a bad Seahawks offensive line for lunch. Geno is playing well. DK Metcalf is makingbig  plays down field but Geno won't have time to throw the deep ball.

Pick: Rams -1.5

Lions at Packers (+2.5)

The Lions are only giving 2.5 points. Are you kidding me? Jordan Love is hampered by a groin injury. Packers' starting safety Evan Williams is out and starting center Josh Myers is doubtful. The Lions are stronger on both lines as well. Bet the Lions.

Pick: Lions -2.5

Money Line

Jaguars (+260) at Eagles (-325)

The Eagles have one of the top rosters in the league but the Jaguars aren't that far outgunned. Trevor Lawrence has played a lot better than he's given credit for. He made some great plays against a good Packers defense last week. He's got a puncher's chance against the Eagles.

Pick: Jaguars +260

BONUS: Broncos (+330) at Ravens (-425)

Am I crazy to bet the Broncos against the Ravens? Maybe but +330 is juicy. The Broncos have a very good pass rush and the best cornerback in the league. The Ravens defense has been disappointing and the Broncos offense is better than expected. They are running the ball well and Bo Nix is improving as a passer. Whatever you do, don't take the Ravens this game.

Pick: Broncos +330
